WebJul 21, 2013 · The Baswsman can crank out a good Fender tone with lots of low end. But it doesn't get loud enough to be in a band with a loud guitar and drums. It'll sit there and do it's thing though. I owned an older Bassman. It seems it was 230 watts with a 15" speaker. When I tried the Bassman 250, it seemed a little better, but a lot.
