WebNov 29, 2024 · For a gravel bike I think the benefits of hydraulic are vastly overrated (for mtb it is more important). Using Teflon coated cables and compression less housing gives great feel to properly setup mechanicals in my opinion. The main reason I run hydraulic has nothing to do with the brakes themselves.
